Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Learning and Development (L&D) Manager to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring our candidates across the globe receive top-tier professional development opportunities. The L&D Manager will also be responsible for setting up and managing LinkedIn certification courses to enhance the skills and employability of our candidates.

Key Responsibilities

  • L&D Strategy Development:
    • Develop and implement a comprehensive L&D strategy aligned with Somewhere.com’s goals and objectives.
    • Identify and assess current and future training needs for our global candidate pool.
  • Program Management:
    • Design, deliver, and manage various training programs and workshops, including onboarding, skill development, and leadership training.
    • Coordinate with subject matter experts to create engaging and relevant content.
  • LinkedIn Certification Courses:
    • Set up and manage LinkedIn certification courses for candidates.
    • Ensure courses are accessible, up-to-date, and aligned with industry standards.
    • Monitor and report on the progress and success of the certification programs.
  • Candidate Support:
    • Provide ongoing support and guidance to candidates throughout their learning journey.
    • Conduct regular assessments to measure the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaboration and Communication:
    • Collaborate with recruitment teams to understand the specific needs of different sectors and tailor L&D programs accordingly.
    • Maintain clear and consistent communication with candidates, ensuring they are aware of available learning opportunities.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest trends and best practices in L&D and incorporate them into Somewhere.com’s programs.
    • Gather feedback from candidates and use it to refine and enhance training offerings.
  • Reporting and Analytics:
    • Track and analyze the impact of L&D initiatives on candidate performance and satisfaction.
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on the effectiveness and ROI of L&D programs.
Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an L&D Manager, Training Manager, or similar role, preferably within a recruiting or staffing agency.
  • Strong understanding of LinkedIn certification courses and other online learning platforms.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using learning management systems (LMS) and other e-learning tools.
  • Passion for continuous learning and professional development.
