Oncology-National Program Director
Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator Team
Amplity Health has a current opportunity in our Medical Solutions division for an experienced Pharmaceutical Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator National Program Director. Utilize your Pharmaceutical Oncology field Management experience to lead this team. Overview
The National Program Director (NPD) is responsible for the national team of Oncology Clinical Nurse Educators (CNE) and the Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator Regional Managers. This team is field based with healthcare provider interface and no patient interaction. The NPD is responsible for the program and teams success with overall operation of the contract including goal attainment, delivering results in a compliant manner, expense management, and maximizing client satisfaction. Critical responsibilities include the timely recruitment, selection and evaluation of the highest quality field-based HCP focused Oncology Clinical Nurse Educators and Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator Managers. The NPD provides regular guidance and direction to the Regional Manager team. The NPD coaches and develops managers in best practice methods to achieve contract goals and objectives.
The NPD is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans for the client, program and the company overall. The NPD is the relationship manager for the contracted client and client satisfaction is critical while successfully collaborating with the Amplity corporate stakeholders for the programs success.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities
- Overall success of the program ensuring all KPIs, objectives are met and or exceeded
- Exceed customer expectations including successful deliverables achievement
- Strategic focus applying strong analytical reasoning to assist client in solving problems and developing business opportunities
- The NPD plans, organizes and monitors activities/projects to maximize the business potential for client and influence contract renewals and expansions.
- Responsible for providing recommendations to client and Amplity executive team on strategies, plans, and performance management.
- Communicate effectively with the client to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions and strategies as needed to achieve success
- Provide information exchange as needed to internal stakeholders and departments such as Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition, Project Management, Human Resources, and Executive Leadership
- Provide ongoing training and development to the CNE team
- Coaches Managers and CNEs to deliver program goals
- Ensure communication in a compliant manner with the client sales team that enhance client satisfaction
- Provide senior level resolution to internal departments and external client issues that impact the program
- Ensure budge adherence and communication as needed
- Develop best practices for program to ensure performance meets expectations
- Participate with Talent Acquisition in the recruiting of Regional Field Managers and CNE tea
- Ensure the training of Regional Managers is completed and ongoing as needed
- Ensure minimal turnover with effective retention programs and staffing solutions
- Communicate regularly with the management team to ensure individual CNE achievement of goals and address performance issues
- Participate and present in quarterly business reviews with the client
- Facilitate the annual review process with the team
- 70% travel in the field and other meetings, may be required
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college require
- Master’s degree a plus
- RN preferred
- Ability to travel via automobile and air on a weekly basis nationally
- 8 plus years Management experience preferred
- Oncology experience strongly preferred
- Pharmaceutical experience required
- Experience managing a field team of HCP interfacing oncology nurse educators highly preferred
- Ability to attract, coach and retain highly qualified Oncology Clinical Nurse Educators and Oncology Clinical Nurse Educator Managers
- Strong leadership and coaching skills with a focus on developing others
- Track record of meeting/exceeding project objectives
- Ability to ensure compliance upheld
- Track record of positive interactions at executive levels to reach goals
- Record of positive client relationship management skills
- Valid driver’s license with safe driving record required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including PowerPoint, Excel ,TEAMs digital meeting platforms and software as needed
