About Our Client

My client is a fast growing manufacturer within the food and beverage production space. The Internal Communications Manager is a newly created position with high visibility to executive leaderships and ample room for career growth.

Job Description

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans that align with the company's goals and objectives.
    • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand key business initiatives and ensure they are effectively communicated to employees.
  • Content Creation:
    • Create, edit, and distribute a variety of internal communications materials, including newsletters, emails, intranet content, presentations, and videos.
    • Develop engaging and informative content that supports company initiatives, promotes employee engagement, and enhances company culture.
  • Employee Engagement:
    • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication and transparency.
    • Develop and implement initiatives to enhance employee engagement and morale, such as recognition programs, town hall meetings, and employee surveys.
  • Change Management:
    • Support organizational change initiatives by developing and executing communication plans that help employees understand and embrace change.
    • Provide guidance and support to leaders and managers on effective communication practices during periods of change.
  • Measurement and Analysis:
    • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts through surveys, feedback, and analytics.
    • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve communication strategies and tactics.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with HR, Marketing, and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment with overall company goals.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on internal communication matters.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in internal communications, corporate communications, or a related role.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with digital communication tools and platforms, such as intranets, email marketing software, and social media.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

What's On Offer

Target compensation for the Internal Communications Manager is $110,000 - $125,000 base salary + very competitive bonus plan.
