Art Director – Visual Storyteller – North America

Boston, MA / San Jose, CA / Portland, OR

As our Art Director, you will join a global creative and digital team including our U.S.-based Creative Director and Senior Digital Director. You’ll also work with some of the biggest global technology brands in the world.

As an Art Director, we Expect you to:

  • Serve as a creative powerhouse, you will move quickly from ideation, to creation, and evolution of concept, alongside account teams and clients
  • Produce production-ready visual design work that complements our integrated marketing engagements
  • Conceive, design, and produce an array of visual assets, including (but not limited to): paid and organic social posts, gifs, memes, stickers, infographics, presentations, motion graphics, templates, mood boards, press kits, ads, and marketing materials
  • Develop concepts for a variety of social platforms, such as IG, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, Reddit, etc.
  • Become an expert in client brand standards
  • Present designs (and the rationale behind them) to teammates and clients
  • Stay in tune with social, visual, and pop culture trends
  • Prioritize and manage own time
  • Communicate effectively with teammates, client stakeholders, industry partners, and beyond


Functional Expertise

  • 2- 5 years of visual design experience, preferably at an agency or in-house creative department (experience working with technology brands is a plus!)
  • Direct client engagement experience with the ability to understand client vision/direction and present designs and concepts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Understanding of visual hierarchy and design principles
  • Mastery of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and PowerPoint, as well as emerging digital and social design trends
  • Working knowledge of best practices related to:
  • Various social platforms
  • digital, UX and UI design principles
  • AfterEffects, Sketch and HTML are a plus
  • Animation skills
  • Video or sound editing a plus

Along with a salary ranging between $93,000-$115,000, a benefits package and career advancement opportunities will be offered to the successful candidate.
