The role.

Donovan is looking for a strategic and results-oriented individual to join our agency team. We’re in search of someone who is driven, committed and passionate about growing a business into something beyond expectation. You get excited about growth and evolution. You are knowledgeable about what’s current but even more excited about what’s next.


The job.

Be the champion for all agency business development efforts.

Reporting to the CEO/President, the Business Development Representative should:

·      Be responsible for the development and execution of agency new business strategy and acquisition of new accounts.

  • Manage and execute a comprehensive new business strategy/plan to successfully support current and future agency vision.
  • Articulate new business strategy and direction through definition of key target categories and profiles and conducting competitive analysis and market research to generate leads. 
  • Uncover opportunities for agency to make sales presentations to targeted prospects. Organize, direct and make physical arrangements for presentations.

·      Work with our creative strategy team to build great call generating advertising. Coordinate and execute direct marketing to new business prospects.


What a qualified candidate should possess:

·      Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills

·      Ability to prioritize work and set schedule to meet deadlines

·      Superb interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others

·      Ability to work efficiently and effectively and handle multiple projects

·      Be a team player, have a positive attitude, outgoing personality and the ability to work well under pressure

·      Ability to manage a pitch from initial lead generation to close

·      Proven ability for strategic thinking and proactive problem solving

·      Strong leadership and team building skills

·      Ability to generate leads and qualified prospects from the food and beverage industry

·      Proven track record of successful business development programs

·      5+ years of agency sales and/or marketing experience


Salary Range:

$60,000 to $65,000 + commission.
