Position Summary

The Director, Business Development will play a critical role in crafting and executing fundamental partnerships for IONNA. From strategic site hosts to automakers, tech partners to utilities, this role will identify opportunities to exponentially accelerate IONNAs growth goals and elevate the customer experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with external parties to accelerate IONNAs mission
  • Create, execute, and negotiate strategic agreements with partners
  • Identify large and small opportunities to scale with great retail and site-host partners
  • Implement and manage key partnerships with all automakers
  • Perform due diligence and strategic-fit assessments on potential opportunities
  • Work cross-functionally with Legal, Site Acquisition, Deployment, and Technology teams.
  • Oversee partnership performance and ensuring alignment with business goals
  • Develop scalable models for formalizing partnerships



Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of partnership management experience
  • Proven track record in partnership management and deal negotiation
  • Experience crafting, negotiating, and executing strategic agreements
  • Bachelor’s degree in applicable area of study including Business, Finance, Economics
  • Exceptional communication and project management skills to effectively progress projects
  • Adept commercial mindset with ability to develop creative solutions
  • Outstanding organizational ability to comprehensively maintain partner portfolio
  • Detailed understanding of the current public fast charging landscape

Actual base salaries are based on several factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, experience, certifications and specific work location.
