We have an opportunity for an Associate Manager, Communications to bring their passion, collaboration and dedication to our team! Reporting to the Senior Director, Content on the Global Communications team, this is an excellent opportunity to partner with teams across our global company to deliver on our storytelling strategy and advance Hasbro’s corporate narrative. We are looking for someone who is an exceptional writer, with strong judgment and problem-solving skills, ready to deliver creative, thoughtful communication solutions that drive company objectives.
This is a hybrid role and can be based in our office in either Burbank, California or Pawtucket, Rhode Island.
A Day in the life as an Associate Manager, Communications:
- Create best-in-class written materials and content to advance the corporate narrative, including scripts, executive briefings, op eds, blog posts, inventive one-liners for social, and more
- Draft content for and maintain corporate social media channels and Hasbro newsroom
- Support Senior Director, Content in story mining and research by building strong relationships across the organization
- Manage the corporate content calendar – ensuring the team never misses the chance to share a phenomenal story, lift up an employee, or spotlight an amazing new product
- Collect materials and draft submissions for priority industry awards and recognition
- Maintain corporate editorial resources and toolkits, including key messaging, editorial style guide, fact sheets, and more
- Help develop premium content for keystone events throughout the year, including Hasbro’s Women Innovators of Play program, internal company meetings, investor events, or company-wide days of giving
- Keep us on track: find opportunities for streamlined processes and/or new tools and systems to increase team productivity
- Be bold and contribute ideas! Stay up to date on the latest tonal, aesthetic and technology trends and best practices and explore opportunities for innovation and creative storytelling across key corporate channels
- Excellent storytelling skills and writing chops, with samples to prove it
- Minimum of 3-5 years experience in marketing, journalism, communications, advertising or public relations
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications or related field or equivalent work experience
- Solid understanding of social media platforms including LinkedIn, Tiktok, Threads, and Instagram
- Curiosity, creativity, and resourcefulness to uncover information from across the business and shape into compelling stories
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Highly pro-active, self-starter with strong interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with outstanding project management skills
- Fluency with social media analytics, SEO, and social scheduling applications a plus
- Sense of humor and positivity
- Starting Pay Range: $67,743
- Pay Range End: $114,705
