Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operates production equipment; responsible for manufacturing and assembly of clinical and commercial products.
Follows blueprints, guidelines and/or diagrams to ensure product specifications and tolerance levels are met.
Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the manufacturing field.
Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
Works under immediate supervision.
Typically reports to a supervisor.
Direct and coordinate customer requests for service of equipment.
Confer with supervisors and engineering personnel to resolve design and/or operational problems.
Assess and resolve customer complaints.
Assist with the commissioning activities where needed.
Assist with on-floor testing of equipment where needed.
Assist in the creation and maintenance of service-related documents. Create new documents as needed or requested.
Keep management informed of current issues relating to customer satisfaction.
Promote the service department to all customers while representing company in a professional, productive and helpful manner.
Analyse equipment problems and prepare technical reports for use by engineering and management.
Complete other responsibilities as assigned.
Complete any Quality System records/activities as required.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE
A Bachelor or Associates degree in an applicable discipline preferred and/orequivalent experience.

Relevant experience: 2 + years (Preferred)

Mechanical & Computer Aptitude
Desired Skills
Test lab experience (equipment, methods, and instruments). Data Acquisition Systems experience (IMC DataWorks or LabView preferred). Programmable controller experience.

Additional Information
This need is due to Test Lab expansion.
These are entry level technician positions.
Candidate with minimal test related experience will be considered.
Even candidate with no test experience will be considered if they can demonstrate mechanical and computer aptitude.
