YOUR IMPACT

The International Business Development Director will be instrumental in turbo charging Wingstop’s next phase of growth on our journey to becoming a Top 10 Global Restaurant Brand. A team player that will work in close partnership with the Global Head of Business Development, regional stakeholders across EMEA, APAC and LATAM and teams at our Global Support Centre.

The role is multi-faceted and suited to a passionate self-starter who is both culturally and commercially astute. Areas of focus will include owning the end-to-end Brand Partner (Franchisee) identification and onboarding process inclusive of financial and legal due diligence. Mapping the Brand Partner landscape on a global landscape, whilst cultivating relationships and tracking QRS/F&B/Fast Casual market trends. Developing a global infrastructure for scalable development that includes identifying and managing best in class 3P vendors such as market planning and analytics.

You must be a collaborative and energetic relationship builder with a strategic global mindset as well as a passion for detail and execution. Brand Partner selection and their success is at the very heart of what this department does.

In essence, you will play a critical role defining and driving the business and brand expansion of Wingstop globally.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner the VP/Head of International Development to grow the Wingstop brand across EMEA, APAC and LATAM markets.
  • Take ownership and accountability for building a healthy and robust BD funnel globally with “AAA” Partners.
  • Be the Business Development Subject Matter Expert; business partnering across the internal ecosystem.
  • Partner regional teams to build development capability and enable the teams to exceed their Net New Unit targets.
  • Periodic Reporting and business updates on the status of the BD funnel.
  • Develop, inspire & elevate the entire team by becoming a cultural role model.
  • Cultivate relationships and represent the Brand at events, conferences etc.
  • Provide comprehensive insight into market and industry trends, competitive intelligence, and regulatory details. Making business recommendations as appropriate.
  • Own quarterly business reviews.
  • Support company growth and culture by being the best version of yourself.

You have at least 10 years development experience across fast growing international food and beverages with proven capability in development, pipeline management and New Restaurants openings. You aspire to be Head of Global Development’s successor.

You have the aptitude to work both independently and collaboratively, the talent to apply sound, strategic thinking, and analysis to address a variety of business circumstances, and the capability to produce high-quality, detail-oriented work within a fast-paced environment.

SERVICE-MINDED: You consider others at every turn by exercising your responsibilities in an energetic, proactive, and organized way. You can engage with a raft of different cultures and personalities across multiple businesses.

ENTREPRENEURIAL: You work with an owner’s mentality when collaborating cross-functionally as you manage multiple concurrent projects from inception through execution.

WHO YOU ARE!

  • Experienced in a similar role is essential preferably in a global role within the Restaurant segment.
  • A Global citizen with an extensive network and cultural exposure and awareness.
  • Possess a deep knowledge of the Restaurant sector.
  • A natural relationship builder.
  • Multi-Lingual capability an advantage.
