The Opportunity

We are seeking an Event Content Program Director to join our client. You will be responsible for curating conference topics, securing and managing speakers, and ensuring a seamless event experience. While this role is remote, we prefer candidates based in the San Francisco Bay Area to facilitate better collaboration with the team and stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Project manage event content, topics, and agenda from draft to execution
  • Research and identify key players in the ecosystem and propose them as speakers
  • Collect and manage speaker profile information
  • Schedule and conduct prep calls for sessions, introducing speakers to moderators and other panelists
  • Organize content templates and documentation
  • Incorporate sponsored speakers seamlessly into the agenda
  • Manage end-to-end speaker logistics
  • Conduct market and competitor research for best practices and deep understanding of the tech and AI space
  • Communicate 1-on-1 with high-profile speakers to expand on relevant topics for events
  • Collaborate internally to understand event goals, audience, sponsor deliverables, and overall content strategy

What You Bring

  • At least 3 years of events content program management experience, particularly in the tech conference space
  • Deep knowledge of trends in AI, data, cloud, and other transformative technologies
  • Proven track record of securing and managing high-profile speakers and creating compelling event content
  • Ideally, a network of executives and representatives at top companies
  • Strategic thinking to align event content with editorial focus and business goals
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Strong administrative and project management skills
  • Ability to influence and articulate value in partnerships
  • Passion for technology and its impact on business and society
  • Preferably located in the San Francisco Bay Area

Interviewing Process

  • Level 1: 30-min virtual interview with the Founder/CEO
  • Level 2: 30-min virtual interview with the Chief Strategy Officer
  • Level 3: 30-min interview with the Event Producer
  • Reference and Background Checks: conducted after successful interviews
  • Job Offer: provided to the selected candidate
