Job Title: Director, Brand & Integrated Marketing

Location: Remote

Reports to: CEO


Job description

The Director of Brand & Integrated Marketing is responsible for ownership of 360 marketing plans. This person will work closely with other members in the marketing team to strategize and execute always on marketing as well as bigger 360 campaign moments. This role is remote (preference for candidates that work EST hours) and reports into our CEO.


Responsibilities:

Brand Leadership

  • Develop and execute the annual brand strategy, seasonal marketing calendars and campaigns, and act as the primary steward of the brand, ensuring consistency and continuity across all consumer touch points. 

Integrated Marketing

  • Own the planning and execution for all aspects of consumer communication including messaging, go-to-market strategy, product launches, customer-facing marketing communications and campaigns
  • Partner with retail team on retail marketing to maximize launch moments

Product Marketing

  • Lead product positioning and briefing for all Youthforia products, new and existing, to drive successful launches, and growth in hero styles ongoing.

Content Creation and Planning

  • Develop and execute paid and organic content strategy for video, social, email, blog, and in box assets to support always on and new launch campaigns

Data Reporting, Analytics & Strategy

  • Analyze weekly retail performance and reported findings to leadership; implement strategic changes to strengthen product development and marketing strategies, and maximize sales potential  

Community Building: 

  • Turn the passion of our fans and customers into community as a growth channel through scaling ambassadors and online/offline activations

Team Management:

  • Directly lead and manage key teams responsible for social media & influencer marketing
  • Own and manage the relationship with PR agencies 


Job requirements

  • 7+ years of experience within marketing, makeup experience preferred.
  • Thrives in fast-paced startup environments and comfortable rolling up sleeves
  • Strong organizational, communication and project management skills
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership
  • Comfortable with challenging the status quo and proposing wild ideas
  • A leader who knows how to coach, influence, and get the most of your team; Work ethic and interpersonal skills that inspires collaboration and motivate creative thinking
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable, resourceful and forward thinking
  • Ability to work in remote first, agile environment
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite
