Vice President of Outside Sales - Global Key Accounts

The Vice President or Sr. Director of Outside Sales and Global Key Account Sales will lead and develop sales strategies and execute plans to achieve and exceed annual profit goals for large and multi-national accounts. This sales leader will lead the Americas Outside Sales and Global Key Account Sales Teams. This is a remote position.


Responsibilities:

  • Direct responsibility for the Revenue growth, and profitability for all outside and key account sales in the Americas.
  • Set the growth strategy and direction for Americas and Key Accounts sales.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at the global and regional leadership level with key account clients.
  • Ability to develop and maintain healthy business relationships with C-suite, President, Vice President, and Director level executives at the customer.
  • Develop and maintain break through plans and key account sales strategies that are achievable for present and future growth.
  • Be the key leader on global tenders and be able to delegate what is needed from your team to exceed bid expectations.
  • Conduct and lead global team meetings to review activities, local strategy, and sales funnels monthly.
  • Facilitate global and regional quarterly business reviews.
  • Maintain contract data base and negotiate contract extensions globally / regionally
  • Maintain SFDC globally to ensure spend is accurate in each region.
  • Full financial analysis of respective accounts and regions.
  • Hire, train and direct activities of small but talented and driven team.
  • Develop and implement strategic growth plans to achieve corporate goals.
  • Be a problem-solving partner to key accounts and clients to drive sales opportunities through understanding of areas for client to improve.
  • Develop customer-pricing strategies to optimize sales conversions.
  • Negotiate large-scale sales opportunities and long-term supply agreements.
  • Review monthly P&L results and provide summary analysis to the executive team.
  • Develop annual sales forecast and budget for each team member.
  • Facilitate sales activities and opportunities with other departments.
  • Recommend ideas for research and development opportunities.
  • Represent company at events and trade meetings to promote products.


Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA preferred.
  • 8-10 years proven work experience in outside sales leadership and management.
  • Experience leading large and multi-national accounts.
  • Well versed in Salesforce CRM, SFDC and Office 365.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Experience with large organization.
  • Experience in packaging and or printing industries preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50%.
