Job Summary

The Recruiter is responsible for attracting, recruiting, and hiring world-class talent for high-impact roles in our business. The Recruiter will be part of Vail Resorts Talent Acquisition team that is focused on supporting the Corporate Business function. The Recruiter will be responsible for partnering with hiring managers to understand key job criteria and to lead a structured and fair hiring process from beginning to end.

Job Responsibilities

  • Own full cycle recruiting activities for primarily job requisitions up to Sr Manager (G27) level, including sourcing, resume review, candidate screening, advising on interview panels, and interview scheduling coordination. Create a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Work with hiring managers to review, analyze, and clarify job specifications/requirements, competencies/skills required, understand business operations, and develop a recruiting approach to fulfill each acquisition need. Inform recruiting strategies and drive hiring outcomes; advocate for new recruiting initiatives and practices. Engage as subject matter expert (SME) for hiring managers in a full lifecycle recruiting environment.
  • Build and maintain an understanding of business function priorities, structure and roles, critical skills, and optimal candidate profiles.
  • Strong service delivery with high attention to detail and focus on experience.
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management skills and the capability to drive and influence the recruiting process to hire the best talent for each role.
  • Present screened and qualified candidates to HMs utilizing various tools, sourcing strategies and techniques.
  • Create a high-quality candidate and hiring manager experience.
  • Serve as a resource for the Talent Supply team in a key area of acquisition knowledge – leveraging HR and COE SMEs as needed (e.g., sourcing practices, offer practices, benefits offerings, etc.).
  • Support strategic talent acquisition initiatives as needed

Job Requirements

  • 2+ years of professional corporate working experience, recruiting experience preferred
  • Curiosity to understand teams, roles, organizational dynamics and hiring needs to find the right people for each role. Motivation to relentlessly pursue quality of hire to add confidence to hiring decisions and enable teams to thrive.
  • Process improvement mindset; the ability to identify areas of opportunity and act on them both proactively and continuously.
  • Microsoft Office required (extensively use Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel)

The expected Total Compensation for this role is $25.00 - $30.20. Individual compensation decisions are based on a variety of factors.

Vail Resorts offers a ‘Hybrid’ work environment for Broomfield-based roles where employees must live within 50 miles of the Broomfield office and work on-site Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and have flexibility to work off-site on Mondays and Fridays.
