Vice President of Sales

Artsana USA, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Artsana Sp.A., a premier Italian juvenile product brand and one of Europe’s largest producers of infant and juvenile Chicco brand baby products, seeks a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Sales to lead our sales team and drive sustained market growth. This role is located onsite in Lancaster, PA.


Reporting to the CEO, the Vice President of Sales is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets. This person plays a pivotal role in effectively managing key customer relationships and identifying new market opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales leadership within the consumer products sector, exceptional strategic thinking abilities, significant experience in working with major national online and brick-and-mortar retailers, and a proven track record of driving sales growth.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and market growth objectives
  • Collaborate with marketing, product development, and other cross-functional teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives
  • Lead, mentor, and perform day-to-day oversight and management of the sales team
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing key customers, partners, and stakeholders while growing new relationships that fit within the company strategy and brand
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to drive growth and expansion
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to the executive team
  • Evaluate market trends and plan sales strategies accordingly
  • Prepare and manage the sales budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
  • Minimum of 10 years of sales experience in the consumer products industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position
  • In-depth knowledge of the consumer products market and industry trends
  • Significant experience in working with retailers, including Amazon, Target, Walmart and others
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal partners and key stakeholders
  • Possesses strong persuasive abilities with solid motivational skills
  • Maintains a professional but confident demeanor
