As a Laboratory Director in Portsmouth, NH, you will oversee laboratory operations to ensure organizational and regulatory compliance while fostering innovation. The role involves managing staffing, financial operations, vendor relationships, and communication strategies within the department.
Key Responsibilities
Direct operations to meet organizational requirements and drive innovation.
Ensure staffing needs are met through hiring, training, and performance management.
Develop and execute department strategies.
Monitor financial operations and compliance with regulatory standards.
Manage vendor relationships and supply contracts.
Implement communication plans for department personnel.
Requirements
Advanced knowledge of laboratory processes, accreditation, and regulatory compliance.
Familiarity with laboratory billing guidelines.
Strong communication, team-building, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in problem-solving, decision-making, and Microsoft Office applications.
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required, Master's degree preferred.
National Certification as a Medical Technologist and relevant state license.
7 years of progressive laboratory management experience.
Other Information
Reports to Division Director of Laboratory Services.
Full-Time Equivalent (FTEs): 30.
Administrative oversight of lab operations.
Salary Range: \(125,000 - \)135,000 per year.
