About The Role

ArcLedge Inc. is currently looking to add a motivated, analytical-thinking Financial Operations/Accounting Manager to our team. Reporting to the Financial Operations Director, this individual will play a vital role in supporting clients in all standard daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting tasks, as well as specialized tasks based on client needs. You will participate in the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, prepare reports, forecast budgets, and maintain the financial integrity of all business-related data. You will deliver exceptional service, proactively manage the relationships with your clients, and serve as the primary point of contact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate exceptional knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping principles and the ability to apply them in real-life situations
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of your team and assigned clients
  • Build strong relationships and provide exceptional customer service to our clients
  • Review the account reconciliations, financial statements, budgets, and journal entries prepared by your team to ensure accurate accounting records are maintained
  • Perform accounting tasks as needed to support client operations
  • Oversee client onboarding process for all assigned engagements
  • Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal government requirements
  • Participate in the hiring, orientation, and ongoing training of team members reporting to you
  • Monitor team member performance by reviewing the quality of their work and ensuring deliverables are being met in a timely manner
  • Coach, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct annual performance reviews of your team
  • Maintain confidentiality of all client data
  • Provide insight into ways to optimize processes and increase efficiency
  • Stay current on the latest cloud technologies
  • Complete special projects as assigned

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field
  • 10+ years of professional accounting experience
  • 5+ years of management experience, including responsibilities such as the hiring, training, and development of a motivated, service-oriented team
  • Experience working in a multi-client, billable environment
  • Highly proficient in QuickBooks Online and QuickBooks Desktop
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and Zoom
  • Experience with NetSuite, Sage, Xero, BILL, and/or Expensify a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and customer service skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented and possesses strong organizational skills
