Job Title: Vice President of Operations


Geography

This role will oversee clinics in 9 states. Candidates will be expected to visit these locations and can be located anywhere in or around the footprint.


Company Overview

This position is with a leader in science-based, physician-supervised weight-loss and wellness programs, with around 100 locations nationwide. The company operates a mix of corporate-owned and franchised clinics, focusing on treating obesity and related health conditions with customized programs and proprietary nutritional products.


Position Summary

The Vice President of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the operational management of the group’s 17 flagship clinics. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, this role is critical in driving operational improvements, enhancing clinic performance, and scaling revenue. The VP will implement industry best practices, streamline processes, and ensure high-quality patient care across all locations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operational Leadership: Oversee the day-to-day operations of 17 flagship clinics across CT, MA, NH, RI, DE, NJ, TX, FL, and AL. Ensure operational efficiency and lead turnaround strategies for underperforming locations.
  • Performance Optimization: Establish, track, and manage key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive clinic performance, boost patient satisfaction, and achieve revenue growth.
  • Best Practice Implementation: Develop and enforce operational standards and procedures to maintain consistency and maximize efficiency across all clinics.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership and mentorship to two Regional Directors, cultivating a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
  • Revenue Growth Strategy: Lead initiatives to enhance revenue streams through strategic growth and operational improvements.
  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Work closely with finance, marketing, and other departments to align operational strategies with the company’s overall objectives.

Ideal Experience

  • Operational Leadership: 7-10 years of senior operations experience, with a proven track record in managing multi-site operations and driving performance improvement in healthcare or franchise environments.
  • Turnaround Expertise: Experience in managing multi-state healthcare operations with a focus on turning around underperforming sites and driving revenue growth.
  • Process Improvement: Demonstrated ability to implement operational efficiencies and best practices that lead to significant performance improvements.
