Job Summary: The (REMOTE) Senior Manager of Testing and Optimization is vital to transforming the Digital Connected Retail experience by playing a pivotal role in driving online sales and in-store visits through experimentation and optimization.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Create a culture of experimentation, leveraging A/B testing and other methodologies to test, learn, and iterate on customer experiences and product features.
  • Develop hypotheses, design experiments, and analyze results to inform strategic decisions and drive business outcomes.
  • Establish and oversee a robust measurement framework to enable innovation through learning-based, champion/challenger iteration.
  • Lead insights-driven continuous improvements to enhance the overall customer experience.
  • Use data to identify areas for optimization and implement changes that drive measurable improvements in sales both in-store and online.
  • Develop and lead the test planning process to ensure tests are executed correctly and without collision.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Product & Development, Site Ops & Merchandising, CX & Design, Analytics, etc.) to align testing schedules, ensure resources are effectively used, and maintain a testing calendar.
  • Oversee ideation, backlog management, grooming/evaluation, test brief and design, planning/sequencing, sizing, and prioritization.
  • Ensure proper execution of QA & demo, development, analytics tagging, test setup, measurement, and iterative testing recommendations.
  • Maintain documentation to track the progress and outcomes of experiments.
  • Conduct deep dive analysis on test & control data to determine critical insights and recommendations.
  • Present findings to senior leadership and provide actionable insights to guide future strategies.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of implemented changes to ensure ongoing optimization and improvement.
  • Complete all required training modules and certifications prior to the due date.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment for all.
  • Communicate professionally with all internal and external contacts.
  • Follow all Company policies and execute Company standards on appearance and functionality as well as appropriate brand representation.
  • Communicate any concerns or issues to leadership to ensure proper efficiency of department and company operations.

Non-Essential Responsibilities

  • Execute Company initiatives and other activities requested by supervisor.
  • Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contribute ideas on ways to optimize or improve the team, the department, and the Company.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field required
  • Master's Degree in Marketing, Business, Finance, Computer Science or a related field preferred

Professional Experience

  • 5+ Years in Testing and Optimization, Analytics, or Digital Product Management required
  • Work in E-commerce or retail environment preferred

Skills List

  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and methodologies, particularly testing-related statistics.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Proven track record of driving significant business results through data-driven experimentation and optimization.

Competencies & Knowledge

  • UX principles, web design best practices, and other factors impacting website performance and user behavior.
  • A/B testing tools and platforms (e.g., Optimizely, AB Tasty; preference for experience with VWO, Adobe Target).
  • Digital analytics tools & platforms (e.g. Google Analytics, Quantum Metrics, Fullstory; preference for experience with Contentsquare, Adobe Analytics).



Pay Range

$135,000 - $140,000
