As part of our efforts to protect publisher accounts and provide account-specific support, we require you to provide a valid phone number. To make sure that your information is accurate and up-to-date, we may require that you verify your phone number via SMS text or phone call. You'll receive a 6-digit personal identification number (PIN) to enter and verify your account.
Phone verification is not required if you've previously verified with Google. If it's required for you, you'll be prompted during AdMob sign up.
Verify your phone number
During AdMob sign-up, you may be prompted to verify your account using your phone number.
Complete the steps below to verify your account:
- Enter your phone number in international format:
+(Country code)(Area code)(Phone number)
.Note: Your phone number's country code must match the country/territory you selected when you signed up for AdMob. For example, if you selected "United Kingdom" when you signed up, your phone number must start +44. - Choose whether you’d like to receive your verification code by text message (SMS) or voice call.
- Click Send. You should soon be contacted by the method you selected in the previous step.
- Enter the 6-digit verification code that you received and click Submit. If you didn't receive the PIN, you can click Resend code to try again.
Fix verification issues
Didn't receive the text message
If you live in a densely populated area or if your carrier's infrastructure isn't well maintained, text message delivery can be delayed. If you've waited more than a few minutes and still haven't received our text message, try the voice call option.
"This phone number cannot be used for verification"
If you find this error message, you have to use a different number. To protect you from abuse, we limit the number of accounts each phone number can create.
