Position Overview

The Director of Marketing will lead the category go-to-market strategy for the global expansion of indoor cooking appliance portfolio.  This person will develop the marketing strategies to expand into new categories and channels, foster growth in existing ones, and support execution for global markets. This person will work closely with cross functionals teams to develop and drive the execution of the marketing strategies including global product positioning, messaging hierarchy and branding, assortments, and channels strategy while managing launches occurring on time across all channels and markets.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategy and brief the global teams on execution of all go to market plans including product marketing positioning across all consumer touch points
  • Work with sales and category management for sell-in strategy, retailer placement, and channel management across key launches
  • Identify opportunities to refine and improve existing products in market to better deliver on goals while also partnering with sales on execution of in market changes (including pricing, promotion, events, etc.…)
  • Communicate and review all commercialization strategies with the leadership team, present insights, and recommendations, and align on a path forward.
  • Support and drive category strategy, insights, and consumer needs for product roadmap with engineering to ensure long term growth across new and adjacent categories.
  • Lead and mentor a team of brand marketers to implement on-time and on-brand execution of all key initiatives, campaigns, and deliverables.
  • Develop consumer insights to not only ideate new products but also to optimize the products throughout the commercialization process; lead innovation testing to prove out ideas with consumers.
  • Leading the teams on winning mindset and approach, driving the revenue goals by market and ensuring weekly and monthly tracking

  • Broad spectrum of marketing skills, defining strategies, building plans, driving product launches, and front-end innovation management
  • Ability to connect the dots and think at a holistic and strategic level across the business.
  • Influencing, conflict resolution, and creative problem-solving.
  • Comfortable mining and analyzing data and drawing conclusions.
  • Project management and ability to manage several projects in parallel, navigating a complex cross-functional matrix.
  • Biased toward action, roll up your sleeves and get it done together.

Qualifications

      • Minimum of 10+ years of prior Marketing experience required, preferably with direct responsibility for Brand strategy, messaging, commercialization, and P&L management.
      • Deep experience in CPG marketing.
      • Experience in managing, building, and growing teams in a global context
      • Experience leveraging consumer insights to develop effective marketing programs and campaigns.
      • Experience in creative strategy development, advertising and launching new products.
      • Experience in launching products globally across several different markets.
      • Bachelor’s required and MBA preferred.
This is a Hybrid role from our Needham, MA office
