Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Workday Financials Testing Manager Lead to oversee and manage our testing processes. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Workday modules and configurations, coupled with strong leadership abilities to manage a large and diverse population of business and IT testing . This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strategic thinking, and a proactive approach to ensuring the quality and reliability of our Workday system, boundary systems, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities: • Lead Testing Strategy: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies for all Workday modules, Finance, Procurement, integrations, reporting, and data conversion measurable with success criteria to gain quality assurance. • Workstream Management: Leads workstream, communication, status, and an active member of the Program Management Office. • Test Planning and Execution: Plan, coordinate, and execute various testing phases (unit, E2E, integration, and regression) to validate Workday configurations, integrations, reporting, and data conversion. • Defect Management: Track and manage defects identified during testing, collaborating closely with functional and technical leads and developers to resolve issues promptly. • Reporting and Documentation: Generate test reports, status updates, and documentation to stakeholders, highlighting testing progress, issues, and risks. • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement within the testing lifecycle, driving efficiency and effectiveness in testing efforts.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

• Proven experience in testing Workday Financial applications, with in-depth knowledge of Workday functionality and configurations.

• Strong leadership skills with experience in leading stakeholders and testing participant through strategy and execution.

• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Jira) and automated testing tools (e.g., Kainos, Provar, Playwrite).

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

• Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with stakeholders at various levels of the organization.

• Workday certification (e.g., Workday Fins Certified, Workday Integration Certified) is a plus.
