Boom has two main verticals, Sports Products and Casino Games.

Our Sports Products include Boom Fantasy, our very own Daily Fantasy Sports application bringing a quick and easy way for sports fans from any skill-level to join in the fun of DFS. With millions of dollars in winnings so far, Boom Fantasy is a rapidly growing success. We also build world-class free-to-play games and technology for our partners that have entertained more than 4 million sports fans.

Our Casino team is hard at work building a suite of eye-catching casino games for distribution to casino operators in the legal U.S. and international iGaming markets. This team is reimagining what's possible in gaming by focusing on innovative products powered by cutting-edge technology.

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of User Acquisition to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of growth marketing strategies, with a proven track record of driving customer growth and engagement in the mobile application space. As the Head of User Acquisition, you will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive acquisition campaigns across various channels to acquire high-quality users at scale.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute user acquisition initiatives to drive user growth and maximize ROI.
  • Design, implement, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns such as paid social, SEM, display advertising, and affiliate marketing.
  • Identify and evaluate target audience segments, market trends, and competitive landscapes to optimize user acquisition efforts.
  • Utilize analytics tools and attribution models to track, measure, and report on campaign performance, making data-driven optimizations to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the product team to optimize user onboarding and retention strategies, ensuring a seamless user experience from acquisition through activation and beyond.
  • Leverage customer insights to develop growth strategies to tailor acquisition efforts to different user groups.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including marketing, product, and analytics to develop data-driven acquisition strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal creative and content teams to develop compelling ad creatives, landing pages, and marketing assets that resonate with target audiences.
  • Manage and optimize user acquisition channels, including paid social (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Twitter/X, etc), display, and affiliate/partnerships.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in user acquisition, growth marketing, or digital marketing, with a demonstrated impact in the mobile app industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and optimizing performance marketing campaigns to drive user growth and revenue.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing channels and analytics platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, draw actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Passion for sports, mobile gaming, and fantasy gaming.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strategic thinker with a creative mindset and a passion for innovation.

Our target compensation for this position is between $135,000 and $185,000 depending on experience. Additionally, this position is eligible for a performance-based bonus based on growth and new user metrics.
