Position Title: Human Resources & Talent Acquisition Generalist

Reports to: Senior Recruiting Manager/VP of Sales & Marketing

Summary

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible for assisting in the execution of Corporate and Human Resources and Talent Acquisition programs and processes.

Essential Functions

  • Works directly with the Senior Recruiting Manager to develop and implement sourcing strategies that focus on finding qualified sales personnel to meet staffing needs of the organization Sales Team. Recruiting sales professionals is 60% of this job
  • Provides timely communication with and maintains the attention of the candidates and hiring leaders
  • Assist Recruiting team with sourcing and staffing of other personnel as needed
  • Coordinates applicant screening, interview and hiring for professional and non-professional positions
  • Sources and attracts a pool of qualified and diverse candidates, matching those candidates to open positions through screening and assessment
  • Participates in and leads recruiting events and projects throughout the year, which includes travel and some evenings and/or weekends (15%-20%) to the Orlando office.
  • Run new hire background checks via ADP and coordinate onboarding of new hires with HR Business Partners
  • Sources and attracts a pool of qualified and diverse candidates, matching those candidates to open positions through screening and assessment
  • Communicate extensively with Senior Recruiting Manager regarding candidates interview status
  • Excels at building trust-relationships with hiring leaders, colleagues, prospects, and candidates; built on your knowledge and expertise
  • Along with the Corporate Trainer Specialist creates and facilitates all new employee orientations in the Dallas office to ensure employees gain an understanding of company policies and procedures.
  • Along with the Corporate Trainer Specialist, this person acts as right hand to the Corporate Trainer by maintaining Cornerstone (Learning Management System) and is available to Managers and Employees with any questions.
  • Serves as a liaison in partnership with the human resource business partners, providing collaborative guidance and advice on integrated communication strategies to build employee morale, productivity, retention, and policy compliance
  • Drafts and distributes reference materials such as open enrollment materials, goal and performance review initiatives, and summaries of perks and benefits
  • Assist HR Business Partners Implements, conducts, facilitates, and/or analyzes results of employee morale and retention initiatives such as incentive programs, stay interviews, career development meetings, employee surveys, and exit interviews
  • Provides guidance and coaching to managers, supervisors, senior leaders, and the HR department on communication strategies; assists with challenges such as low morale, high turnover, absenteeism, layoffs, and other difficult conversations
  • Maintains knowledge of trends, developments, and best practices in employee retention, morale,
  • Assist HR Business Partners in creation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for Human Resources department
  • Inputs new employee information, terminations and employee administrative changes into reports, E-verify, ADP HRIS and APLX system when necessary
  • Assist with input of payroll (including entering FMLA, PLOA, Workers’ Comp hours, etc.)
  • Assists with job description and compensation plan documentation updates, performance review annual administration and notifications.
  • Coordinating with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Source applicants through various methods including advertising, recruiters, job sites, career fairs.
  • Ensure regulatory aspects of the full cycle recruitment process is compliant with federal and state legislation.
  • Create appropriate documentation for leaves of absences (FMLA, Workers Compensation, STD / LTD) as directed by HR Business Partners or VP of HR
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by the Senior Recruiting Manager and VP of HR

  • Must be able to work independently in office from Dallas office Monday through Friday
  • Must be computer savvy using applications Microsoft Office, Windows PC and HRIS Systems.

Education/Experience

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or 5+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Physical Requirements

The employee must, occasionally, lift and /or move up to 10 pounds.

While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly required to sit.
