  • What is your experience in creating and executing a test plan for Salesforce implementations?
  • If you discovered a misconfigured set of Salesforce objects, exposed across 3 separate portals, what would be the plan to mitigate / remove these misconfigurations?
  • Have you created test plans and managed developers to fix bugs / adding features to get to a shipping product?
  • Are you able to drive daily scrum meetings to track deliverables and drive the developers and salesforce administrators to do their assigned tasks in Jira?
  • Can you perform the fingers-on-keyboard tests to ensure new functionality is delivered and/or misconfigurations have been fixed?

Interview Process: 1 Tech phone screens 1 Skype or face to face if local.

Qualifications

  • You'll be a good fit for this role if you have experience:
  • Four (4) + years of QA experience in large enterprise settings delivering solutions on the Salesforce platform, with experience in a government or state agency a plus.
  • Mastery of software Quality Assurance / Testing methodologies, obtained via university degree or work experience.
  • Ability to pick things up very quickly and turn them into action plans.
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience using SQA tools (Test Rail & JIRA) and database querying tools.

Knowledge And Hands-on Experience With

  • Salesforce.com
  • Agile Scrum (QA lead, scrum master a plus)
  • JIRA and other CI/CD tools
  • Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams and SharePoint Online
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively document, track and drive the team toward QA goals and objectives.
  • Strong understanding of environment management, release management, code versioning best practices, and deployment methodologies – working in cloud and on-premises environments
  • Highly organized and able to maintain detailed documentation on processes, standards, and projects.
  • Exceptional time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to effectively multitask.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff, as well as senior management and across Commonwealth of Massachusetts organizations.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate and provide technical support to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Working on projects with external vendors. Many of our product teams are composed of both external vendors and internal team members. We will rely on you to advocate for DOL with our vendors, directing them to ensure that the vendor’s team is delivering high-quality software on time and according to agreed-upon functionality.
