ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS (List In Order Of Priority)
Management of planning, scheduling and procurement of materials to support daily plant operations
Lead the monthly SIOP Supply Review Process which includes a full review of the plants ability to support the demand plan and monitoring resource capacity and other potential constraints
Participate in the monthly Executive SIOP process
Manages the materials planners and operational buyers to ensure just in time delivery to the production floor - Coach and support the team to drive results and develop the individual
Develops collaboration with key suppliers and purchasing to optimize material supply
Working Capital Management of inventory to optimize cash flow and meet monthly targets - Overall responsibility for schedule adherence and on-time and in-full shipping KPIs - Cost Optimization and Reduction efforts to support optimized financial returns
Promotes a continuous improvement culture and challenge the obvious and utilize out-of-the-box- thinking
Select transportation routes to maximize economy by combining shipments or consolidating warehousing and distribution
Assess appropriate material handling equipment needs and staffing levels to load, unload, move, or store materials
Maintain Master Data (ERP) including various levels of data management including item master data (WMS) and equipment master data (Elevator)
Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery requirements
Monitor forecasts and quotas to identify changes or to determine their effect on supply chain activities
Collaborate with other departments, such as procurement, engineering, and quality assurance, to identify or qualify new suppliers
Develop or implement procedures for all materials planning and inventory management
Analyze information about supplier performance or procurement program success
Document physical supply chain processes, such as workflows, cycle times, position responsibilities, or system flows
Define performance metrics (KPI´s) for measurement, comparison, or evaluation of supply chain factors, such as product cost or quality
Analyze inventories to determine how to increase inventory turns, reduce waste, or optimize customer service
Design, implement, or oversee product take back or reverse logistics programs to ensure products are recycled, reused, or responsibly disposed
Evaluate and select information or other technology solutions to improve tracking and reporting of materials or products distribution, storage, or inventory
Identify opportunities to reuse or recycle materials to minimize consumption of new materials, minimize waste, or to convert wastes to by-products
Provide for a customer focused workplace with emphasis on high levels of customer service and quality operations
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
Elevator Technology, Spare Parts and Field Services - previous work experience in elevator technologies and elevator spare parts management is a plus. Another plus would be having and understanding of process harmonization and optimization in spare parts management in identification, delivery and inventory control. An understanding of customer expectations in the elevator industry from the branch network to technician mobile activities to the end customer which is often the elevator
Administration and Management - knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources
Warehousing - knowledge of best practices in warehouse operations, quality control, safety, costs, KPI´s and other techniques for maximizing the effectiveness of goods handling and storage
Transportation - knowledge of principles and methods for moving goods by air, rail, sea, or road, including the relative costs and benefits
Customer Service - knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction

Required Work Experience
5+ years related experience
Strong Leadership Skills and ability to lead and motivate people
Proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities
Strong planning, organizational and analytical skills - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Detail oriented with emphasis on accuracy
Ability to set strategy and execute a plan to support strategic goals
Advanced MRP SAP Experience desired
Required Education, Certifications, Training
BA, BS degree and/or at least 5 years' management experience in Supply Chain Management or Materials Management
Master's Degree preferred
APICS certification desired
Preferred Qualifications
Strong knowledge of MAPICS/SAP or other ERP systems, specifically in relation to process order management
APICS certification or progression to certification highly desirable
Experience and Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles
