We are a company currently in stealth mode that is transforming the healthcare experience for low-income families through purpose-built, thoughtful technology.


We are well-funded by world-class investors including Sequoia Capital and Khosla Ventures. We are led by a founder who grew up on Medicaid (public insurance) and personally knows the desperation of not being able to afford medically-necessary care. We have seen great demand, achieving 8 figure annual revenue ($XXM) in less than 12 months post-launch!

The Role

We’re looking for a passionate and ambitious leader with a proven track record in complex growth operations environments and managing teams. This position reports directly to the CEO and is hybrid in San Francisco (at least 4 days in the office with builders and leaders). You’ll build unparalleled processes for families and help shape our roadmap.


In this role you will:

  • Own and run the Growth function end-to-end. Our growth function consist of many pillars and you’ll oversee: 1) Demand generation. This is all about spreading our mission far and wide to increase awareness to thousands of underserved families. You’ll manage partnerships, D2C digital marketing, and local grassroot marketing. 2) Lead conversion. This is all about closing and converting interested families to use our product. You’ll manage sales teams and optimize the lead to conversion experience.


  • Craft growth processes for scale and constantly experiment. You’re relentless about operational excellence and always launching new ideas. You’ll help take our growth teams to new heights through constantly refining processes, iterating on growth experiments, and constructing playbooks that will scale with exponential growth. You are excited to scale a company to $50M-$100M ARR in the next year.


  • Grow all-star teams. You’re excited to lead and manage impactful teams of growth hackers, marketers, and builders with strong values and empathy. You’ll help build out new teams and work streams as we continue to scale.


  • Build for Scale and Flexibility. We have grown exceptionally fast and expect that growth to continue to accelerate. That growth comes with the complexity of requirements that differ across the United States. You’ll collaborate closely with leaders to best balance optimal patient experience with varying regulatory requirements and that will support hypergrowth. It’s an interesting challenge that keeps us going everyday.


  • Partner with operations, clinical, and product teams across the company. You'll be a critical voice for shaping our roadmap to further our mission.

The Requirements

We index on your experience, leadership, and hustle.

  • At least 5 years of analytical, growth, partnership, and marketing experience. You have led a company through hypergrowth and know what it takes to 3-4x a company. Bonus points if you have been at a fast-paced startup or company, especially companies requiring boots-on-the-ground marketing or sales team.


  • Experience building and structuring operations teams from 15 to 45 people. You’re a stellar leader and recruiting magnet when it comes to running a high-velocity growth function.


  • Experience with setting strategic direction. You’ll understand the company’s mission, influence strategic objectives, and guide your team to execute toward measurable growth goals.


  • Experience in business analytics and metrics. You’re data driven and use that to inform your decisions.


  • Excitement to get in the weeds and extreme hustle is needed. We are an early stage startup after all, and therefore, this could mean putting out fires on the weekend or diving into the smallest technical details. Everyone on the team is relentless about delivering their best work.


  • 100% Commitment. This must be your full time and top commitment (not part time). This role has great opportunities for growth alongside the company, and your plan is to grow with it for the next 1-2 years. This role isn't suitable for people who have a side hustle at this time.

This role would be a fit for you if you have the following:


  • Pride in being the jack-of-all-trades. Everyone has heard of the ‘a jack of all trades is a master of none’ quote. However, what most people missed is the second half of the quote ‘a jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one’. You know this, and it’s your superpower. You don’t view what you do as simply executing. Rather, to you, a process-oriented mindset pushes you to create impact for the world at scale.


  • Operational execution. Strategy is 30%, and execution is the other 70% that gets you to the finish line. Your uncanny advantage is your strong strategic thinking coupled with your speed for execution. You can create scalable processes to grow your team. You have built team workflows and implemented process improvements to fight entropy.


  • Team-player and beginner's mindset. You thrive in a team and are curious about how technical decisions impact other teams such as clinical, operations, product, etc. and vice versa. You have a low ego and are willing to learn. You are willing to admit mistakes and have an open mindset.


  • Compassion for families. You are absolutely relentless about putting our families first. You truly view this as an opportunity to help the most vulnerable. You can make decisions with our families in mind.


  • Force of nature. You take extreme ownership. There are no tasks or problems that are beneath you - even the most unsexy or complex. You are able to drive critical goals under ambiguity and constraints.
