Base pay range

$30.11/hr - $60.06/hr
OVERALL FUNCTION:

Reporting to the Accounts Payable Lead/Accounts Receivable will manage the accounts payable process, ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and timely. This role is a non-exempt position earning $30.11 per hour to $60.06 per hour.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process and verify invoices, purchase orders, and payment requests.
  • Ensure proper coding and matching of invoices to purchase orders.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions.
  • Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
  • Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues.
  • Maintain vendor files and set up new vendors in the accounting system.
  • Prepare and process electronic transfers and payments.
  • Assist with month-end closing and accruals.
  • Generate reports and assist with audits as needed.
  • Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment status and issues.
  • Maintain accurate records for 1099 vendors and assist annual filing.
  • Assist with special projects as needed.


REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience in an accounts payable role.
  • Strong understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
  • Experience with accounting software (e.g., HP (Growth Power), QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, Intacct, or NetSuite)
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Effective communication skills.
