Aircraft Maintenance Quality Control Inspector


Dayshift / Weekends off




Responsibilities

a) Inspection of aircraft, engines, propellers, accessories, components, and materials processed

through the repair station.

b) The proper documentation of discrepancies on appropriate forms, work orders, tags or aircraft logs.

c) Performing RII inspections on aircraft.

d) Performing aircraft Airworthiness Releases.

e) Performing receiving inspections on aircraft, engines, propeller accessories, components, and

materials.

f) Performs shelf-life inspections of materials that are used in the repair process.

g) Provides technical assistance for the proper application of technical data.

h) Comply with the repair station procedures (RSQCM) and company policies when performing aircraft or component related inspections.

i) Other duties as assigned by the DQC.

Qualifications

- Must be a certificated mechanic (A&P) under 14 CFR 65 with 2 years minimum experience..

- Must understand, read and write English.

- Preferred minimum 2 years’ experience as an inspector for an MRO or Airline Heavy Maintenance Base.

- Prefer experience with ATR42, EMB145, and CRJ200/700 type aircraft.
