Supply Chain Consultant, TMS (Blue Yonder experience) - Remote | WFH

As a Supply Chain Consultant specializing in Blue Yonder TMS, you will play a crucial role in implementing and enhancing our clients' transportation management systems.

Responsibilities

Partner with clients to understand their unique challenges and opportunities in transportation and logistics.

Apply industry-leading insights and adaptability to tailor solutions to each client's specific needs.

Engage closely with clients through both remote sessions and occasional in-person meetings, fostering strong relationships.

Create detailed functional design documents to capture and refine client requirements.

Execute customized designs within the Blue Yonder TMS application.

Utilize established project management processes to track progress and communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project milestones and deliverables are met.

Lead project meetings as necessary to drive progress and maintain client satisfaction.

Maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements

4 years of experience in transportation logistics, with a deep understanding of transportation concepts, freight rates, and logistics processes.

Extensive experience (4 years minimum) with Blue Yonder (formerly JDA) TMS.

Proficiency in configuring and implementing Blue Yonder's transportation suite, covering various modes such as Parcel, LTL, TL, Ocean, Intermodal, Rail, and Air.

Strong grasp of both functional (e.g., Master Data Management, Optimization, Financials) and technical (e.g., APIs, EDI) components related to TMS implementations.

Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), Shipping Management Software, Visibility tools, and BI platforms (e.g., PowerBI, Tableau).

Skills in SQL, XML, JSON, and experience with electronic interfacing methods (EDI, XML, Flat File).

Knowledge of connected fleet management technologies is advantageous.

Additional Skills And Attributes

Demonstrated track record of industry expertise, ownership of project outcomes, and effective communication skills.

Strong presentation skills, both verbal and written.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.

Organizational skills and analytical mindset essential for designing and executing project plans within designated timelines.

Work Environment And Travel

This is a full-time, exempt role based remotely from anywhere in the US.

Up to 35% travel required (by airplane and/or car) with overnight stays.

Physical Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Occasional standing, walking, and lifting of office products and supplies up to 40 pounds.
