Position Summary For Manager In Training
Super Star Car Wash is looking for candidates with experience in leadership or management with a desire to lead a team of others. Our Manager in Training program is designed to develop individuals to become our next Store Managers. You will learn every aspect of the Car Wash. As you progress through your training, you will take on more responsibilities; developing the skills required to fully lead the day to day operations. Eventually you will become responsible for the overall operation and profitability of the car wash and profit centers within an individual Super Star Car Wash location.
Much of the workday is spent outdoors, overseeing facility operations, working with associates and building customer relationships. Additional time will be required to complete administrative tasks and monitor sales and labor data generated by the facility POS system.

Essential Duties/Tasks/Responsibilities For Manager In Training
(These responsibilities must be able to be performed with or without reasonable accommodation)
Supervisory
- Assist the location manager by providing direction and supervision on site
- Work closely with General Manager and Operations Team
- Learn to execute open and close duties and follow designated procedures
- Ability to work outdoors in ALL weather conditions
- Ensure a safe environment for all employees and customers by ensuring compliance with safety procedures and report safety or maintenance issues to management
- Understand Quality Control factors associated with customer’s overall experience, products and services, scheduling and labor cost control with respect to historical performance and seasonality
- Communicate effectively at all levels with employees, customers, peers, and management
- Motivate employees to complete job tasks efficiently and effectively
- Facilitate and assess damage claims
- Ensure compliance with all laws, rules, regulations, and policies at Local, State and Federal levels
- Delegate authority to employees when appropriate
- Support company initiatives, including but not limited to marketing, promotions, sales, customer service, and talent management initiatives
- Ability to work flexible, full-time schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Other duties as assigned
- Service vehicles and prepare the vehicles to enter the wash tunnel
- Completing tasks associated with location cleanliness such as sweeping, replenishing, mopping, cleaning, and/or minor landscaping work as directed by leadership
- Exceed customer expectations by being friendly to customers and handling vehicles with extreme care
- Keep the entire property spotlessly clean and organized
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years of supervisory experience in car wash, retail, or service capacity
