Position Purpose

The Senior Partnerships Manager is an integral part of executing new partnerships and integrations to support the growth of the business. The Senior Partnerships Manager will facilitate partnerships through coordination and collaboration with the ELT, Product Managers, Product Marketing, and Account-based Marketing leadership.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in business, marketing, engineering, physical sciences, nursing or related field.
  • 10 years relevant experience roles such as marketing, business development, and/or product management required.
  • 5 years experience in the health care industry, preferably in the inpatient acute setting required.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and making timely decisions under uncertainty.
  • Must be a strong public speaker, comfortable in front of large groups, and a solid writer.
  • Able to operate within a collaborative team environment.
  • High level of competence with Microsoft Office suite (especially Excel and PowerPoint) is essential.
  • High level of competence with project focused tools used for cross-functional, asynchronous work.
  • Familiarity with CRM and collaboration tools
  • Familiarity with data analysis tools

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Manages a database of partners, facilitates relationships, drives execution of agreements and coordinates engagement of internal resources as necessary.
  • Ensure partners targeted and prioritized stay aligned to the business's near term and long term strategic goals.
  • Create clear expectations for different categories of partnership and which internal teams are involved (including channel, services, workflow integration, white label, and referential partnerships)
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with Product Managers and subject-matter experts to capture primary market needs driving partnership purposes and market segments that would be accessible; also to create business cases supporting prioritization and execution of new partner relationships.
  • Facilitate creation of integration requirements, working with Product Managers, that are prioritized on the Product Roadmap in order to execute partnerships.
  • As necessary, conduct strategic research that informs the growth strategy via partnership
  • Engage with Product Marketing to identify and clarify buyer personas and market segments targeted and to guide training programs and collateral development; empower front line teams with key information needed to introduce partner solutions to customers or to collaborate with partners.
  • Supports new business pipeline development by working with commercial leadership to capture the target accounts opened by new partnerships.
  • Serves as primary liaison for product, marketing and sales leadership. Attends Product team meeting, Go-to-Market meetings to support downstream teams.
  • Track efficacy of partnership program with scorecards to evaluate segments/opportunities created, obstacles, ROI on resources committed, etc.

Supervisory Requirements

  • Individual Contributor Role; no direct managerial responsibilities.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

  • This role requires approximately 25-50% US travel
  • The position is remote within the U.S. when not traveling.
  • Must be able to sit for the majority of the workday with periodic walking and/or standing
  • Must be able to work in an office environment
  • This position is full-time.
