Position Purpose

This position will support the business in reaching success and profitability goals through risk reduction efforts regarding AvaSure product vulnerability management and support current customer security assessments.

Education & Experience

• Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Cybersecurity or Computer Engineering required.
• CompTIA Security+ required.
• CISSP, or CEH Certification preferred.
• 3 years of experience in IT and/or cyber security requierd.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in understanding and leveraging Microsoft Windows.
• Proficient in MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Self-motivated; able to manage time and multi-task effectively
  
  

Responsibilities & Essential Functions

Implementation and Deployment Security Framework:

• Create internal to AvaSure systems HITRUST or SOC2.
• Develop IT security policies and conduct an annual review for recertification.
  
  

Product Vulnerability Management

• Company Subject Matter Expert on Vulnerabilities and Weakness.
• Lead, Maintain, and Improve vulnerability management program.
• Lead/Conduct vulnerability Detection, Identification, Investigation & Mitigation for non-AvaSure products
• Lead Penetration Testing efforts around AvaSure products
• Work with customer service team on end-user communications (Release notes and Vulnerability notices).
• Work with current customers and internal resources to facilitate the completion of Customer Security Assessments

• While performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods and use a computer.
• This position is full-time.
• The position is considered hybrid, visiting Belmont, MI as needed or once a month.
