We're looking for talented and motivated individuals to join our Business Development team for outreach and lead cultivation. The ideal candidate is personable, energetic, approachable and a team player with a passion for web technologies. The Business Development Rep will act as a liaison between our sales and marketing teams to drive qualified leads to our Sr. Sales Reps. The BDR will seek new business opportunities by prospecting, engaging, and developing relationships with potential future customers.
To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience developing leads from marketing campaigns and meeting sales quotas. You will use your communication skills to cultivate strong relationships with customers, from first contact to qualified sales lead. If you are motivated and results-driven, and enjoy working in a team environment, we'd like to meet you.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively seek new business opportunities while prioritizing to effectively engage with your targeted prospects.
- Research, identify and understand business challenges of your prospects.
- Leverage social selling and networking (personal and company) to make connections with key prospects.
- Demonstrate understanding of the digital needs, challenges, and opportunities for medium to large enterprises, across a variety of industries.
- Set and conduct discovery calls with prospects and pass qualified opportunities to the Sr. Sales team.
- Use Salesforce CRM to update, track and record sales activity.
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services/offerings
- Experience in a similar sales role, or experience within digital marketing, web design/development industry.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Comfortable and adept with cold calling, email outreach, connecting with prospects.
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce preferred).
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite, including Word and Excel.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Passionate about helping clients solve their business goals with digital solutions.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a go-getter attitude and eagerness to learn in an ever-evolving industry.
- BS degree in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant field.
- Proven work experience as a Business Development Representative (BDR or SDR)
- Experience with sales prospecting tools (High Velocity Sales, Salesloft, Yesware, etc.)
- Track record of achieving/exceeding sales quotas
