Job Description
The R&D Manager will report into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
Leading and managing the R&D team to develop innovative products and technologies.
Overseeing the research and development process from concept to production.
Developing and executing R&D strategies aligned with company goals and market needs.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineering, marketing, and production, to ensure successful project outcomes.
Managing R&D project timelines, budgets, and resources.
Identifying and evaluating new technologies, materials, and processes to enhance product performance and competitiveness.
Maintaining detailed documentation of R&D activities and project progress.

The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have:
Proven experience as an R&D Manager or in a similar leadership role within an industrial manufacturing setting
Background in research and development processes, methodologies, and best practices
Excellent project management skills with experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
In-depth knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements
Strong analytic and problem-solving skills.
Experience with budgeting and resource allocation for R&D projects.
Proven track record of successfully bringing new products from concept to market.
Furnace, composite, or industrial furnace experience preferred
