A rare Nashville-based opportunity to join the City Winery marketing team as we reimagine the future of live music and hospitality. 

The Marketing Manager is critical to our success, overseeing and developing widespread awareness to support the growth of the City Winery brand, The leading independent music venue brand in the the United States with location in 10 states and growing! The Marketing Manager works closely with internal departments to communicate and market the City Winery brand to the music, culture, and culinary worlds.


City Winery strives to deliver the highest end combined culinary and cultural experience to our customers who are passionate in sharing wine, music, and culinary arts. We are a unique facility, combining a fully functioning winery with intimate concerts, food & wine classes, private events in a variety of configurations, and fine dining. We have created a compelling mix for our sophisticated clientele of foodies, and active cultural patrons—bringing the wine country experience to the middle of a large city.


OVERVIEW OF RESPONSIBILITIES

·      Generate revenue by exceptional marketing designed to drive top line revenue and managed costs.

·      Manage promotional strategy to drive concert, live entertainment, private event, and food and beverage sales.

·      Maintain current, effective, and cost-efficient marketing collateral across all departments in coordination with the graphics department: Posters, Postcards, Flyers, Displays, Signage, Slideshows and any other needed materials.

●      Display and constantly refresh all in-venue collateral to ensure all events and promotions are up to date.

●      Promote CW show announcements and promotions in weekly emails to CW database. Coordinate with programming and box office, events, restaurant and wine departments on upcoming announcements.

●      Work with graphic design on digital marketing creative, assemble Mailchimp emails, obtain approvals, and schedule weekly promotional emails.

●      Marketing plan outreach and ongoing communication with all performers for the Nashville property, including how to approve advertiser access via Facebook meetings when needed and working with additional digital media platforms for concert promotion.

●      Social media ad campaign creation for all ticketed events

●      Maintain the customer email database. Explore new avenues to capture customer data and grow our existing database, and work across departments to develop audience retention loyalty activities.

●      Follow daily ticketing reports and work with Programming to strategize opportunities to maximize ticket sales.

●      Manage social media content calendar and posting schedule for the social accounts for City Winery Nashville; and compile a monthly data report on each.

●      Maintain up-to-date media databases with targeted media outlet lists in music, food, wine, events, etc.; keep a current copy on a shareable drive for company access.

●      Send show listings out weekly; copy all relevant parties.

●      Collaborate with all departments on content creation and keep all City Winery information current and active on the website.

●      Monitor & follow social media accounts for performers & share content to CW feeds

●      Work with the Private Events, Food, & Beverage teams to promote wine initiatives in venue and at offsite activations

●      Manage promotion of Nashville menus, coordinate with the operations team and the national colinury team on updates needed in between seasonal overhauls

●      Manage the “Influencer Program”/Affiliate Marketing , which includes; continuous outreach, managing and supplying a clear and legible calendar, and hosting them on-site.

●      Ensure clear internal communication across all departments; collaborate and meet regularly with the Nashville teams: Box Office, Programmers, Event Directors, Operations and GMs (individually or as a group when necessary) to coordinate all projects, ensure consistent messaging, and make sure the team is prepared.

●      Additional projects, tasks, duties as per business needs.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

● Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a marketing management role in hospitality setting, and/or equivalent relevant

experience

● Minimum 2 years’ experience leading a team

● Metrics-driven marketing mind with eye for creativity

● Professional and effective interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills, both written and oral

● Proficient computer and technological skills including expertise in digital media

● Must be detail oriented with particular strength in time management and organization

● Ability to manage multiple priorities and produce deliverables within strict deadlines

● Excellent listening and presentation skills

● Appreciation and general understanding of the music, food, and wine business

● Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, holidays as needed

● Must be able to sit for extended periods of time; stand and walk regularly

● Must be able to travel as needed

● Bachelor's degree preferred in Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, Visual Arts, or related field
