You Are

A program manager is responsible for overseeing the planning, development, implementation, and execution of a specific program within an organization. Their main goal is to ensure that the program meets its objectives and delivers the desired results.

The Opportunity

  • Developing a detailed project plan outlining the scope, objectives, timeline, resources, and deliverables of the program.
  • Identifying and securing the necessary resources, including budget, staff, and technology, to support the program.
  • Providing leadership and direction to the program team, setting clear expectations and goals for team members.
  • Monitoring and evaluating the progress of the program, identifying any issues or obstacles, and implementing solutions to address them.
  • Communicating regularly with stakeholders, keeping them informed of the program’s progress and addressing any concerns or feedback.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Conducting regular reviews and assessments of the program’s performance to identify opportunities for improvement and make recommendations for future initiatives.
  • Collaborating with other departments or external partners to support the successful implementation of the program.
  • Managing risks and issues that may arise during the program, developing contingency plans and mitigation strategies as needed.
  • Providing reports and updates on the program’s progress to senior management or other key stakeholders.

What You Need

  • A successful program manager should possess strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • They should have a solid understanding of project management principles and methodologies, as well as experience in managing complex programs or initiatives.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field is typically required for this role, along with several years of experience in program management or a related field.

Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, UST provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

Role Location: California

Compensation Range: $97,000-$145,000

Our full-time, regular associates are eligible for 401K matching, and vacation accrual and are covered from day 1 for paid sick time, healthcare, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance benefits.
