Position Summary

This role is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our credit card lending systems. Knowledgeable of credit card lending processes, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

  • Understand all credit card marketing content and assist the Lending management team with credit card campaigns and promotions. Reviews materials from PSCU and the Community Choice marketing team for accuracy. Responsible for gathering required documentation for all stakeholders and vendors within appropriate timeframes to help increase the credit card portfolio.
  • Assists with credit card systems pricing adjustments including, tier pricing, 6-month and 1-year rate reviews and Prime rate adjustments.
  • Stay informed of all Credit Card Policies and Guidelines.
  • Assists with periodic review of high limit credit cards for risk assessment and makes appropriate recommendations to lending management.
  • Send credit card disclosures to CFPB quarterly.
  • Is knowledgeable of CARDAct and communicates necessary changes with lending management.
  • Completes competitor credit card rate and fee market analysis for comparison. Recommends pricing adjustments if needed for market position and compliance.
  • Updates Credit Card Disclosures as required.
  • Stays up to date on all PSCU, Mastercard, and regulatory credit card communications. Keeps necessary stakeholders informed.
  • Assist lending managers with credit card audits by gathering information as requested.
  • Monitors New Accounts Journal to verify that only valid accounts were opened and that all information from the original application was entered correctly and monitors the credit limit change report to ensure only approved limit increases are updated. Monitors the Meridian link report to validate applications and documents are entered correctly.
  • Pulls monthly and quarterly credit card reports.
  • Effectively communicate the status of merger and project tasks and timelines to keep all stakeholders informed.
  • Process business credit card applications along with member notification and adverse action letters to ensure time frame for approval meets or exceeds goal turnaround times.
  • Assist in administering the credit card portfolio to ensure an accurate and current database system is maintained and to ensure the credit union is in adherence to compliance and regulation guidelines. Keep abreast of the Adaptive Control Systems Matrix settings, PCF settings, and other portfolio settings and offer recommendations as needed.
  • Recommend and assist the Lending management team with operational duties of implementing credit card products.
  • Provide support with Helpdesk Ticket requests, data validation, and testing for business functionality.
  • Act as a subject matter expert and assist training related needs that may arise.

Education

High School Diploma

Experience

2-4 working within a credit card operations environment

Skills & Abilities

  • Thorough knowledge of credit card requirements in the financial industry
  • Strong working knowledge of credit card systems, products, policies, and procedures
  • Must be able to clearly communicate departmental needs with lending management
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft office product suite with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
  • Multi-task oriented and demonstrated high level of flexibility.
