This position will focus on new business sales in the reseller market – Primax. This sales role focuses on building relationships with group service providers, cores, associations and others offering services to a multitude of clients. Responsibilities include territory building through existing relationships, new lead generation, qualification, opportunity management, selling, and closing credit card, debit card, ATM, rewards, collections, bill payment, and call center solutions along with additional financial services.

This is a sales quoted position and success will be measured by new business secured. In this role, you will target new opportunities using industry knowledge and an understanding of the competitive landscape. There is a strong financial understanding required for this position along with deep understanding of integration. This position will perform a high level of quality sales process and positive corporate image with prospective and existing reseller organizations and financial institutions. A successful candidate will select the best opportunities, educate, enroll, sell and close Primax’s suite of services to group service providers, cores, associations and others offering services to a multitude of clients. The candidate will be responsible for entering new markets, building brand reputation and forming successful relationships with executive, key industry providers, resellers, and consultants

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

  • Develop external business by promoting our financial products and solutions within assigned territory and/or defined region.
  • Assist the VP, Sales with forecasting revenue from all new business sales.
  • Research and contact key individuals of influence at target group service providers, cores, associations and others offering services to a multitude of clients to develop, assess, and qualify their willingness to partner with the company as a function of the value they would bring to the company’s portfolio or growth strategy.
  • Document business development activity and pipeline.
  • Gather competitive intelligence and knowledge surrounding industry trends, share insights and build a compelling and successful business plan to produce sales results.
  • Build and lead sales pipeline by exercising weekly structured calling campaign and timely following up on existing prospects, newly generated leads, lead referrals and the overall RFP process.
  • Participate in regional sales activities to include nationally coordinated sales campaigns and conferences.
  • Create and present, virtually and on site, formal proposals that include a detailed pricing analysis and incentive package.
  • Build and maintain effective communication with prospective partners through appropriate contact channels; identify challenges throughout sales process that need to be overcome in order to successfully implement a commitment.
  • Lead generate, qualify, educate, enroll, sell, and close financial products and services in a reseller and B2B environment.  Maintain effective working relationships within the industry by initiating or responding to invitations to serve as guest speaker, participate in informative projects, and attend state league meetings.
  • Ensure smooth and efficient hand-off process of committed partners/clients to respective Implementations team and Account Executive who will maintain relationship.
  • Achieve year-end revenue target established at beginning of fiscal year.  Stay informed on industry trends, changes in industry regulations and competitive landscape.
  • Engage subject matter experts when necessary to assist in the sales process.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Position Specifications

  • Education bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience Five (5) years’ external sales experience with group service providers and Financial Institutions with affiliations and contacts within connections within the market.
  • Consulting experience preferred.

  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in making decisions and interact effectively and positively with all levels of company and credit union personnel
  • Proficiency in word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation computer software applications
  • Ability to consistently demonstrate strong reasoning and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Salesforce, pipeline management and proven sales results year over year
  • Ability to travel as needed, 50-60%
