The Technical Content Communications Manager is a part of Clutch's Professional Services team.


Overview of Opportunity

The Technical Content Communications Manager is responsible for creating and managing content that highlights the IT and technical achievements and innovations of Clutch's client. This role focuses on producing content for both internal stakeholders and external audiences to promote the client's technical success, enhance its reputation, and support business objectives. The Technical Content Communications Manager collaborates with various teams to develop compelling narratives that communicate complex technical concepts in an engaging and accessible manner.


What You’ll Do

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy that showcases the organization's IT and technical success, innovations, and expertise.
  • Align content initiatives with business goals and target audiences, ensuring consistent messaging across all channels.
  • Produce high-quality content, including blog posts, whitepapers, case studies, technical articles, and internal newsletters, that highlights the organization's technical successes and innovations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather information and translate complex concepts into engaging narratives.
  • Develop and distribute internal content to keep employees informed and engaged with the organization's technical projects, successes, and milestones.
  • Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and collaboration within the organization.
  • Manage and distribute content through various external channels, including the organization’s website, social media, industry publications, and email newsletters.
  • Ensure that content reaches the right audience and generates positive engagement and recognition to enhance visibility of the organization’s technical success in the market.
  • Work closely with product managers, engineers, and other technical stakeholders to gather insights and information for content creation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, PR, and communications teams on cohesive content development processes that leverage expertise from various teams to ensure content alignment and amplification.
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of content initiatives.
  • Analyze data and feedback to continuously improve content quality, engagement, and strategic impact.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in content marketing and technical communication.
  • Craft cutting-edge content strategies that keep the organization competitive, relevant, and innovative in content marketing efforts.


About You (Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • 5+ years' experience in content marketing, technical writing, or a related field, with a focus on promoting technical success and innovation.
  • Deep understanding of technical concepts and the ability to translate them into accessible content for various audiences.
  • Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with the ability to create compelling narratives around technical topics.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to measure content performance and derive insights for continuous improvement.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content initiatives and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with content management systems (CMS) (e.g., WordPress, HubSpot) for managing and publishing content.
  • Hands-on experience using social media management tools (e.g., Hootsuite, Buffer) for scheduling and monitoring content distribution.
  • Ability to use analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush) for tracking content performance and engagement.

Physical Requirements

  • Predominantly operates in an office environment in a stationary position.
  • Ability to operate standard office equipment such as computer, calculator, keyboard, mouse, and phone.
  • May occasionally bend, squat, and need to lift up to 20 pounds.

Compensation

$40.00 - $50.00 per hour
