Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Consultant with a proven track record in selling contract furniture, particularly for commercial or business environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience and knowledge of furniture design for the healthcare, commercial, and educational sectors. This role requires a highly motivated individual who can build strong relationships with clients, understand their unique needs, and provide tailored solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the healthcare, commercial, and educational sectors.
  • Identify client needs and provide customized furniture solutions that meet their specific requirements.
  • Conduct presentations and product demonstrations to showcase our furniture offerings.
  • Manage the entire sales process, from initial contact to closing the sale and post-sale follow-up.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure client specifications are met.
  • Prepare bids, and proposals, and negotiate contracts with clients.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, product innovations, and competitive landscape.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads and build business relationships.
  • Maintain a strong presence in our three showrooms, providing exceptional customer service to all visitors.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in selling contract furniture to commercial sectors
  • Strong understanding of furniture design and the unique requirements of commercial environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Highly motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel as required.
