Instructional/E-Learning Designer

As an Instructional Designer, you will be responsible for developing and designing effective user guides, training videos, and learning material for customers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in instructional design in the software industry, excellent project management skills, and a passion for creating engaging and impactful learning experiences. Please Note: This is a hybrid role and you must be willing to commute to our office in Katy, TX Responsibilities: Collaborate with implementation, support, success, and sales teams to identify customer training needs and goals. Gain a deep understanding of the product offerings to develop training material to address customer and internal team needs. Design and develop innovative and interactive learning materials, including user guides, training material and training videos. Develop assessments and evaluation measures to assess the effectiveness and impact of training programs. Manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality training solutions. Conduct periodic reviews and updates of existing training materials to ensure accuracy, relevance, and alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in content development, instructional design, education, instructional technology, or a related field. 2-5 years of proven experience as an Instructional Designer, preferably in the software industry. Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning theory, and best practices in training and development. Proficiency in using authoring tools, video recording, and multimedia development software. Experience with graphic design, video editing, and animation tools is a plus Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear and concise learning materials. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
