The Senior Manager, Global Operations Sustainability is responsible for the development and execution of the Enterprise Supply Chain Sustainability Strategy and establishing short, medium and long-term operations sustainability projects & programs to enable the delivery of our goals, working in partnership with Rich’s Corporate Sustainability office. This individual will lead the engagement and collaboration with key stakeholders across our supply chain, along with external partners, for the delivery of our sustainability goals. Reporting to the Director of Engineering Technologies and in close collaboration with our Manufacturing Plants, Engineering, Procurement and Generations of Good office, the Senior Manager, Global Operations Sustainability will build capability and drive enterprise reductions in carbon emissions intensity, waste, energy, and water, and lead the data gathering, data analysis, development, and submission of Rich’s Sustainability Reports, in alignment with environmental, social and governance standards.

Key Accountabilities And Outcomes
- Develop Rich’s global energy, waste, water and sustainable food operations strategy and goals in partnership with our Corporate Generations of Good office, directly leading and driving results within our operational footprint.
- Lead the definition, justification and project management (as needed) of innovative sustainability projects and initiatives across our network, focused on breakthrough solutions, operational optimization and business value creation
- Develop a comprehensive emissions (Scope 1, 2 & 3) reduction Master Plan, collaborate in the development of clean energy policies and clean energy contract origination in partnership with the Generations of Good office and Procurement
- Lead the measurement, analysis and reporting of Scope 1 and 2 global emissions, leveraging Rich’s resources and external vendors, and drive Scope 3 emissions data through external vendors and partnership with Procurement
- Partner with R&D and Manufacturing to develop a successful strategy to migrate and incorporate fit for use sustainable raw and packaging materials in our products and operations
- Provide input and support to SBTi SME target setting, driving corresponding emissions reduction work and related internal and external reporting
- Lead the data gathering, validation, leadership alignment, submission and continuous improvement of Rich’s Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP) Sustainability Report
- Provide support in the execution and corrective action response planning for customer requested SMETA audits and emissions data collection required for customer queries
- Incorporate Sustainability in Rich’s digital transformation
- All other duties and responsibilities as assigned
- Bachelor Degree in Sustainability, Engineering, Climate/Environmental Science, or related field of study (Masters Degree Preferred)
- 10+ years experience in leading large-scale operational sustainability programs
- Relevant experience in food and/or consumer goods manufacturing industries
- Self-managed, motivated for independent work and driver of breakthrough solutions
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of associates across multiple divisions and organization levels
- Demonstrated experience developing complex sustainability solutions and successfully justifying value proposition in this space
- Skill in organizing and influencing internal and external resources, establishing priorities and driving work forward to attain results (Project Management experience Preferred)
- Demonstrated experience in successfully managing 3rd party ESG vendors
- Demonstrated experience in Continuous Improvement and Six-Sigma processes
- Proficiency in CDP Reporting, GHG Protocols, SBTi Standards and SMETA audits
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Project, Visio)
Compensation
In accordance with state law, the rate or range provided is Rich Products Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ("Rich's"), reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, shift differential, and location.
Annual Range/Hourly Rate
$121,440.00 - $182,160.00
