The Service Attendant is responsible for promoting a safe & efficient work place by ensuring jobsite hazards & waste are removed in a timely fashion, assisting Supervisors and Service Technicians in day to day tasks that assist in Safety, Production, and Contamination Control.

What You'll Do

  • Perform and document daily/weekly maintenance activities
  • Identify Safety Issues, reporting and resolving them in real time
  • Identify and remove waste from yard and work areas
  • Clean worktables, bins and equipment between jobs to ensure the are ready for projects as required
  • Clean Service bays during and between Service jobs
  • Assist the Service Department in complying with all Caterpillar Contamination Control Procedures.
  • Assist Technicians with Supervisors direction
  • Provide oversight when large equipment is being moved at our facilities, signaling to operators to prevent property damage and unsafe acts
  • Prepares reports as requested.
  • Participate in special projects as operations demand.

What You'll Need

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and/or one (1) month related experience and/or training.
  • Excellent communication skills to exchange information with customers and other employees in written and verbal form.
  • Aptitude for using or learning computer skills related to specialized and common software.
  • Excellent attention to detail to ensure proper recording and tracking of inventory and execution of other instructions or assignments.

The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.

Required travel up to 10%.
