Who are we hiring?

As Senior Manager, Digital Content & Experience at Sphere, you will be responsible for driving digital discovery of Sphere; this includes defining, building, managing, and scaling digital content programs across a suite of web and mobile platforms to optimize navigation & purchase paths, improve data content & information finding and increase overall SEO market share.

Working closely with our partners (e.g. Communications, Brand, Data & Analytics, Media Agency, Product, Sales, etc.), you will develop and execute comprehensive digital content strategies, translating business objectives into digital platform enhancements, content initiatives and promotional activations. This includes curating high-quality content for websites, implementing search engine best practices, crafting & enforcing content governance policies, collaborating with Product & UX teams to build designs, structure our site, and integrate content across various digital touchpoints.

Additionally, you will define digital KPIs, track business performance, leverage data (quantitative and qualitative) to maximize ROI and regularly share insights with executive teams. As a result, you will lead the strategic vision for advancing digital content to drive increased traffic, conversion and sales, along with improvements to customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate is highly collaborative, has a strategic mindset with ability to solve ambiguous problems and has a thirst for continuous improvement.

What will you do?

  • Content Management – Partner with and advise digital product (website) team to create frictionless and seamless experience online; collaborate on digital content calendar for execution of digital refreshes, seasonal/temporary activations, and promotional activities; provide guidance on digital content distribution, purchase path improvement (individual tickets and group/suite/events sales) and navigation enhancements, utilizing data & best practices to inform decision-making.
  • Data Analytics & Insights – Partner with Data & Analytics to implement digital content analytics strategy to ensure effective data capture, business alignment and data quality; identify, define and benchmark digital KPIs; regularly monitor business health, analyze data to improve digital experience and share insights with executives and key stakeholders.
  • Digital Experience Strategy – Develop, execute and optimize comprehensive digital strategy to grow digital revenue (ticketing, merchandise, etc.) and enhance online brand experience across site and digital products through content programs; navigate complexities of growing digital business, including day-to-day content tactics, system & technical controls, resourcing and more.
  • Marketing Promotions – Supervise execution of digital tactics to support promotional activation (e.g. QR codes, promo codes, gamification, push notifications, etc.)
  • Product Roadmap – Partner with Product Management, Media Agency, and Website teams to develop, launch and enhance features across sites; optimize tooling workflows and advance technological capabilities to improve digital experience.
  • Project Management – Maintain clear project plans and roadmaps, while partnering with internal stakeholders and keeping business priorities & user needs at the forefront; document project requirements, milestones and timelines; generate stakeholder buy-in and enhance workflow for departments feeding content to team.
  • Search Engine Optimization (SEO) – Direct on-page, off-page and technical SEO programming to optimize data content, improve keyword rankings and drive sustainable traffic to websites from search engines, such as Google or Bing; educate Product Management, Brand, and Engineering teams on current trends and content methodologies.

What do you need to succeed?

  • 7-9 years of experience in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Deep understanding of the digital marketing landscape (e.g. SEO, social media, content marketing, email marketing, push notifications, CRM, etc.)
  • Experience partnering with Product Management, Media Agencies, and UX/UI Design teams
  • Experience building or delivering against technical product roadmaps
  • Experience managing; 2 years of people management experience preferred
  • Proficient with Content Management Systems (CMS); WordPress preferred
  • Proficient with Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools, including Bing Webmaster Tools, Google Business Profile Manager, Google Search Console, SEMrush
  • Comfortable with SEO and optimizing content on review sites like Yelp and TripAdvisor
  • Proficient with Web Analytics tools; Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics preferred
  • Customer-focused, analytical and process-oriented; comfortable making data-driven decisions, with thirst for continuous improvement
  • Ability to work as part of a cross-functional team; self-starter who takes ownership over own work end-to-end; demonstrates initiative in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Pay Range

$96,000—$160,000 USD
