As a Medicare Agent, You Will
- Sell and service Medicare insurance, as well as educate our members about Medicare and their health plan options.
- Be contracted and appointed with a variety of insurance companies to assist our members with Medicare Supplement Plans, Medicare Advantage Plans, and ancillary products.
- Plan, organize, participate in, and execute various projects throughout the year, including projects that overlap into areas.
- Perform liaison function between the different health insurance companies and the financial institution when necessary to enhance/ maintain effective agency growth and operations.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and through files on every customer (new and/or renewal) to ensure successful compliance audit.
- Perform such other functions and special projects that might be needed from time to time and assist others to complete tasks and work assignments.
- Has six months to two years of similar or related experience.
- A two-year college degree or completion of a specialized course of study at a business or trade school.
- Has open availability and can work the occasional Sat.
- Is comfortable with sales and referring products and services that will benefit our members. You will be expected to meet monthly goals and could earn incentives for doing so.
- Maintains a positive and energetic attitude and a passion for helping people.
- Places a high level of attention to detail and is committed to member confidentiality.
- Can work comfortably with Microsoft 365 products such as Teams, Word, and Excel
- Has patience, demonstrates empathy, and can manage emotions. We never know what the person in front of us might be going through. Every member interaction is a chance to provide WOW! service.
