Mediassociates has been named an Adweek Fastest Growing Agency and an AdAge Best Place to Work. We are seeking a Senior Strategist Ad Ops who will play an important role in our future growth plans.

Job Summary

The individual in this role will contribute to the evolution and innovation of platforms, technologies, and methodologies in digital ad operations. You will be responsible for working with internal and external teams with site pixel tagging, ad trafficking, and troubleshooting while ensuring a high degree of accuracy. This person will also work closely across all digital teams and help develop and grow overall processes and best practices based on the evolving industry landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Conversion Tracking Management: Coordinate conversion tracking set-up and maintenance across multiple teams and platforms such as Google Ads, Facebook Ads, programmatic platforms, direct partners etc. Work with clients (directly or within their tag management systems) to accurately place and QC tracking tags.
  • Technical Resource: Serve as a main point of contact for colleagues, third-party partners, and clients regarding technical needs and troubleshooting. Ability to provide clear and concise communication is critical while managing expectations and addressing concerns.
  • Ad Trafficking: Set up and traffic ad creatives within adserver(s), ensuring they comply with technical requirements and are correctly tagged for tracking and reporting purposes.
  • Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the accuracy and functionality of ad creatives and landing pages. Proactively work with teams to address any issues that arise.
  • Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve technical issues related to ad delivery, tracking, or reporting to minimize disruptions to campaigns.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Generate regular reports on campaign performance, brand safety and provide insights and recommendations to clients or internal stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including new business, account, analytics, digital, and direct activation to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Development: Assist with developing, training, and deploying operational processes, adtech platforms, and tools for internal and external teams.
  • Ad Tech Integration: Stay updated with the latest ad tech trends and tools and collaborate with the tech team on integrating new technologies to improve campaign performance and efficiency.

Qualifications

  • Agency experience preferred
  • Proven experience in digital advertising, ad operations, or related roles
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working within ad tech platforms including ad servers, Tag Management Platforms, Demand Side Platforms (DSPs), Customer Data Platforms (CDP), Dynamic Creative Optimization tech (DCO), Analytic Platforms, Brand Safety tools
  • Proficiency and working knowledge of digital ad activation platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Trade Desk, etc.)
  • Experience working within Mediaocean/Prisma preferred
  • Solid understanding of ad formats, tracking, and targeting capabilities
  • Strong technical aptitude. Knowledge of HTML, Java, and related web technologies is a plus
  • Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Experience writing presentations and presenting to clients

Our office is located in Sandy Hook, Connecticut. While we maintain a highly flexible work culture for all, our local candidates are encouraged to use our updated office space in Sandy Hook, CT which allows you to take part in our office culture and team development that naturally occurs in office. In addition, if you need to take a break from work, there is a beautiful waterfall and serene stream just outside our front door. Candidates from outside the local area who are able to work during our core East Coast office hours, 8:30am-5:30pm ET, are encouraged to apply. Our team working remotely is invited to the office a minimum of two times per year for our Summer Party and again for the Holiday Party. Other team or client meetings may be scheduled at other times during the year.
