Vice President of Business Operations

LaSalle Network is hiring for an industry leading accounting and tax firm seeking a Vice President of Business Operations due to growth. Based in Miami, Florida, this firm has been recognized for their boutique approach combined with modern technology, making them a trusted advisor amongst a variety of industries.

The Vice President of Business Operations will be responsible for implementing and managing the workflow and design new support processes across the firm. This individual will have the opportunity to streamline and enhance the operations of the business as it scales through acquisitions. The ideal candidate will be hyper organized, be a driver of change and have prior experience managing and developing back office staff.

Vice President of Business Operations Responsibilities:

• Manage and optimize the firm's operational processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to streamline operations and ensure compliance with legal regulations and firm policies
• Monitor and manage budgets and expenses related to administrative functions
• Collaborate with the finance department to track expenditures, analyze financial data and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Oversee administrative staff recruitment, training and performance evaluations
• Foster a positive and collaborative work environment by providing leadership and guidance to administrative staff
• Coordinate office maintenance, including equipment, supplies and facilities management
• Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and supplies
• Collaborate with IT staff to implement and maintain technology systems that support firm operations
• Ensure data security and integrity through effective management of information systems and cybersecurity measures
• Assist senior management in developing and executing strategic initiatives to support firm growth and operational objectives
• Provide regular reports and analysis to management on operational performance and key metrics

Vice President of Business Operations Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management or related field, Master's degree preferred
• 7+ years of proven experience in administrative or support operations management
• Public accounting or financial services industry experience required
• Proven experience implementing operating procedures and workflows
• Strong leadership and managerial skills with the ability to motivate and mentor staff
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with attorneys, staff and clients
• Proficiency in MS Office and other relevant software applications
• Knowledge of legal industry regulations and compliance requirements
