Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A

LaSalle has partnered with a leading global company operating in manufacturing & CPG space, with a strong presence in the US, to hire a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis). This role will sit out of our clients headquarters, located in Rosemont, IL which serves as the hub for their financial operations, driving strategic decision-making and ensuring financial sustainability across our client's global network. This is a hybrid position with two days per week in office.

As a key member of the finance department, you will play a critical role in driving financial performance through comprehensive analysis, forecasting and strategic insights. This position offers an exciting opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, influence decision-making processes and contribute to the continued growth and success of our client's organization.

Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A Responsibilities:

• Lead the financial planning and analysis process, including budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
• Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic initiatives, identify trends and assess business performance
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior management based on thorough analysis of financial data and market trends
• Partner with business leaders to develop annual operating plans and long-term financial strategies
• Evaluate investment opportunities, ROI analysis and capital expenditure decisions
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reporting on financial performance against targets
• Support month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data
• Continuously improve FP&A processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Senior Financial Analyst - FP&A Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred
• Proven progressive experience in financial planning and analysis roles, preferably in a global company environment
• Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques and variance analysis
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with financial software (e.g., ERP systems, BI tools) highly preferred
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail
• Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, actionable insights
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment and influence decision-making at all levels of the organization
• CPA, CFA or other relevant professional certifications are a plus
