The Assistant Service Advisor will be responsible for assisting the Service Advisor in providing exceptional customer service to clients of Mercedes-Benz Van Center of New Orleans. The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Assisting the Service Advisor in scheduling appointments and managing the service department's workflow
Providing loaner car assistance to clients and ensuring the timely return of loaner vehicles
Assisting with the preparation of estimates and invoices for service work
Communicating with clients regarding the status of their vehicles and any necessary repairs
Ensuring that the service department is clean and organized
Skills and Qualifications:
Experienced as an Assistant Service Advisor or in a similar role
Excellent customer service skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer application
Greet customers and assess their needs
Schedule automotive services and ensure that the service is completed in a timely manner
Maintain accurate records of all services performed, parts used, and charges for services
