The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.

We are currently seeking a Digital Account Executive to join our ad sales team based in our New York, New York headquarters.

Job Summary

The position of Account Executive, Digital Sales will play an important role in supporting AMC Networks’ suite of Digital products including TEAL, Digital Content Room Sponsorships, Private Marketplace and Programmatic Guaranteed revenue growth, strategy and new partnership development. This AE will be responsible for driving and supporting Digital sales via a holistic, consultative and advanced advertising approach with agencies/marketers who are looking to leverage data and execute digitally and programmatically.

Job Responsibilities

  • Act as subject matter expert on digital and programmatic related topics
  • Leverage data, insights and technology to build successful client solutions across AMC Networks Digital footprint
  • Onboard, manage and drive Digital sales across new and existing clients
  • Work in conjunction with the AMC Networks Sales team to drive digital & programmatic revenue with agency and client partners
  • Build and manage a pipeline that focuses on client direct relationships, digital first buyers, programmatic marketers and agency traders
  • Participate in regular Digital sales meetings and provide ongoing reporting and feedback to sales management
  • Utilize Salesforce to track all pertinent account information and sales progress as well as forecast and prioritize to achieve quarterly and annual quotas
  • Stay active with key industry events, trends, and emerging ad technologies


QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

  • 5+ years of Digital, AdTech and programmatic advertising sales
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of the digital & programmatic landscape including advanced digital products, technology, techniques, partners, and business models
  • Strong personal relationships with leading digital media agencies, digital first buyers and programmatic advertisers
  • Demonstrated success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable sales environment
  • He/ She must thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a high level of intellectual curiosity, focus on generating results and exhibit the highest personal and professional standards of integrity and ethics
  • Must be a team-player, able to work across teams and function in a highly dynamic organization
  • Must have excellent communication and proven relationship-building skills, strong written and demonstrated oral presentation skills
  • Strong organizational, detail, problem-solving and follow-up skills


The base compensation range for this position is $130,000 to $145,000 commensurate with experience.
